Is there a govermental agency that monitors the administration of living trusts in the state of California? My mother died 10 years ago and my brother was made trustee. He has given me al ittle money from it, but never any paperwork showing assetts or administration. Nor has he filed any tax returns on it or any other paperwork. It’s as if it didn’t exist. There was a house that supposedly was sold, but I was never given any escrow information. My brother has a history of fraud. I hired an atttorney and tried to get information. After spending $2,000.00 for simply an exchange of letters between his attorney and mine, I gave up because I couldn’t and can’t afford litigation. What can i do??.

Best thing you can do is contact the county probate court where your mom’s estate would have been settled.
Your brother has potentially violated his fiduciary responsibilities, some of which have criminal penalties
